Design Online is created to help your student overcome their individual obstacles to reading well. Multi-sensory cues such as sight, hearing, touch, and movement can help students with reading difficulties to connect language with letters and words.
Sherri, your instructor, is certified in multiple methods including the specialized Orton-Gillingham methodology, one of the leading strategies to help students with dyslexia, processing difficulties, attention issues, tracking problems, and other barriers to reading well. Our time-tested online format makes learning fun and has proven to be successful!

We know the first question is going to be "how much does this cost?" We get it, so let's address that up front. Helping your child is a journey of unknown length, and your student will travel at their own pace. This is an investment in your child's education and future, and it will take time.
The first step is two assessment sessions at $60 each, followed by a 30 minute parent-teacher meeting to discuss results at no additional cost. This assessment will help us know your child's current abilities and help us create a roadmap for future goals.
Semesters are 10 week blocks of two sessions per week, totaling 20 sessions overall. Your investment is $1200 per semester, equivalent to $60 per 50 minute session. Some families may qualify for payment plan options. Ask for more information during your initial meeting with us. Start your child's journey today!

Orton-Gillingham is a highly effective, research-based approach to reading instruction that teaches the connections between letters and sounds through explicit, systematic, and multi-sensory lessons. Instruction is individualized to each student's needs, helping struggling readers to build confidence and lasting literacy skills.
What Is Multi-Sensory Learning & How Does It Help My Student?
Multi-sensory learning is an instructional approach that engages multiple senses at the same time - typically visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The more senses that are involved in learning, the student will recall concepts more effectively. By involving multiple pathways in the brain, multi-sensory instruction helps students develop stronger connections to reading, spelling and writing concepts. This approach can improve memory, increase engagement, and make learning more accessible.
